How do I descale my Percolator?

VERY IMPORTANT! What is often forgotten is that devices like a percolator, coffee, thermos, ice maker and hot water dispenser should be regularly decalcified. This will protect your warranty on the equipment and longer life
With daily use, descale the percolator every 2-3 weeks. Regular descaling of a percolator is extremely important. The guarantee of a percolator namely also void if the machine is not descaled regularly.
  • Dissolve the contents of one bag of descaling salt in +/- 4 liters of water. Slide the submerged entry nozzle through the center of the filter basket and place the bottom of the submerged entry nozzle precisely in the heater opening.
  • Pour the mixture of water and descaler in the coffee percolator, place the lid and then turn about 15 minutes on the machine.
  • Turn the device off, pour the mixture of water and salt scaling down the sink or toilet.
  • Repeat this procedure approx. 3 times with only water and turn off the device.
  • Rinse the device, the filter and the immersion nozzle once more thoroughly with warm water and the device is ready for next use.

How do I descale my ice maker?

This manual is for the HENDI ice machines, this can be used as a guideline for other brands. How your ice machine must be decalcified is exactly in the instructions you received with the ice maker. Descaling ice machines is very important. If the ice machine is not descaled regularly will invalidate the warranty.

  • Fill the tank with the descaling salt 1 sachet (30g) and water. Not exceed the maximum level.
  • Turn the power switch to "On". The ice cube tray will fill with water. You hear that pump the water from the reservoir pumped to the ice tray.
  • At the moment that the ice tray is filled, and the supply of water to the receptacle stop, directly press the button: "Off".
  • The ice cube tray will position itself back to zero and the descaling agent is distributed by the device.
  • Turn the power switch back to "On".
  • Repeat this process (steps 1/4 m) several times with descaling agent.
  • After making sure of that it has been cleaned completely, drain the descaling solution through the drain plug located on the left side of the device.
  • Fill the water tank with clean water now and repeat steps 1/4 m now several times with clean water to ensure that there are no remains of descaling salt in the machine backward. The smell of the salt descaling should be completely gone.
  • The device is now ready for use again.

How do I descale my kettle mulled wine or hot water dispenser?

1. Add one bag of salt for descaling hot water dispensers with water and mix.
2. Pour the mixture of water and ontkalkingsmiddelin the boiler up to the "MAX" indication.
3. Wait until the lime is loosened.
4. Drain the dirty water.
4. To drain the dirty water, leave the tap open and rinse with clean water until the smell and taste are completely gone.
5. The device is now ready for use again.
Please note that the warranty does not apply to devices that are hardly functioning because they are not decalcified.
